Experts said that a number of real estate investors' proactive introduction of projects as well as opportunities for cooperation with foreign enterprises will create a new wind for Vietnam's real estate market. The trend of cooperation with foreign partners

Emerging strongly since 2014, when the real estate market restarted a new cycle after a long period of freezing, the trend of handshaking with foreign enterprises of real estate giants strongly began to rise. Instead of "single-handedly" as before, real estate businesses have sought foreign partners to jointly develop the project.

Up to now, the number of Vietnamese enterprises shaking hands with foreign investors is increasing strongly in Vietnam. According to the Foreign Investment Agency (Ministry of Planning and Investment), in 2018, registered capital for real estate reached over USD 6.6 billion, ranking second in the fields attracting the most FDI. Generally, in January 2019, the total registered investment capital in real estate business reached 179.1 million USD, accounting for 9.3% of the total registered investment capital.

Not only did the number of "handshakes" with foreign businesses increase, but the way of cooperation also changed in quality. According to experts, the cooperation of Vietnamese and foreign investors is an inevitable trend in the real estate market. In particular, when banks tighten capital supply, cooperation will bring a solid financial source for real estate projects.

It can be seen that, instead of waiting for foreign enterprises to go to the handshake proposal like 2017, 2018, now, there are some enterprises actively introducing projects, calling for cooperation.
